Problems to solve: the invention aims to provide a device that not only concentrates sunbeam that takes the form of paralleled light but also diffused light which is emitted from the sky vault at all angles.

This is a device that concentrates both diffused daylight and sunbeam. This invention relates to a device that concentrates the both components of daylight, which are diffused daylight from the sky and the beam directly from the sun. This device is designed for daylight transmission system such as tubular skylights or solid light rods or guides. The proportion of the two components varies according to weather condition. When the sky is clear, the sky components can be as high as 30% and be of the magnitude of up to or more than 300 W/m2. When the sky is overcast, the solar energy consists of 100% diffused light and the magnitude can be as high as 200 W/m2. Pervious designs of the domes for passive tubular skylights emphasize the concentration of sunbeam, while this invention concentrates both the components of daylight.
